TRYING TO PERFORM A FIRMWARE UPGRADE AND ERROR MESSAGE STATES THAT I CAN NOT CONNECT TO THE MYWIFIEXT GENIE TO LOGIN AN PERFORM THE REQUIRED MAINTNANCE. I WAS ABLE TO SELECT THE ZIP FILE AND DOWNLOAD TO MY DESKTOP..

2. Have you tried logging into the extender using the ip address the router assigned to it? This tends to go smoother.
3. make sure you extract the downloaded zip file before attempting to update.
