AC1200 dual band WiFi range extender
Spectrum router doesn't have WPS button so don't know how to set up extender? I previously set it up to AX3000 tp-link router Tried the altetnative instructions but was not successful logging into NETGEAR

Did you try setting it up using the push button WPS option?
If so, factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.

go through the connection process on the netgear. Once that is completed, you can log into the spectrum router and find the IP address for the extender. Use the IP address to access it
