We recently hooked up our wifi extender hoping it would extend our network to our detached garage. It doesn't seem to be extending any further. We have a 2 system Arlo Q camera setup in our home. One external, wireless. The other we have no issues with our Arlo. The detached garage is 60 feet from our main wifi (Verizon Fios Gateway) fin. We placed the extender halfway between the detached garage and our main fin. Any ideas how we can boost our wifi signal to reach the garage where we can have another Arlo with a strong enough wifi signal to stream/record etc?
You can setup your one between Arlo Q and main router and second extender next to Arlo Q so that it can be wired to second extender to get connection though extender to extender setup is not recommended. You may exclude second extender and have Arlo Q wired to first extender if it can get better signal from main network while placed next to your Arlo Q.
