I recently installed my AC3200 (C7800) cable modem router for my Cox Internet. When I use AX6000 WiFi Extender it does not work and in fact makes the wireless reception worse. Is it because the cable modem router is 802.11ac and the WiFi Extender may only support 802.11ax. I want to figure out if I need to discard my new AX6000 and get another one which is compatible.
