Can I us Netgear's 802.11ac Access Point Model WAC104 with my router's 10.0.0.1 Default Gateway?

I don't know how to reconcile the Netgear Access Point's 192.168.0.# settings with my current 10.0.0.# network (Xfinity ).

There appears to be some conflict in getting them to talk to one another.

I have followed two different versions of the setup and connection instructions, and my network will not gain me access to the WiFi settings and security setup.
