Can I use my 5ghz channel over the extender?
My Netgear 6100 router has 2.5 and 5 ghz channels. I'm using a WN3000 rpv3 extender to reach a difficult area. My current setup sends only the 2.5 ghz channel to the remote area. Can I "attach" the extender to the 5 ghz channel, or is that beyond its capability? How do I make that change in the router or the extender (if I can)?

Re: Can I use my 5ghz channel over the extender?
Hi @gresch,
Your extender is a single band where it doesn't have 5GHz capability. If you are concerned about 5GHz, you may look for dual band extenders which can help you to extend both 2.4 and 5GHz of your R6100 router.
