Cannot get 5G or other light to illuminate however the up down arrow works
Hi There I have spent about 4 hours trying to resolve this including any help greatly appreciated I am not getting any green lights on the front if i reset they are amber then go out ...
Did you clear everything out with a factory reset?
Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while the router is powered on.
Then, take a pc/laptop and hardwire it into the extender. Disable the wifi on the pc/laptop to ensure it isn't defaulting back to that connection.
Then try going to the mywifiext . net or to 192.168.1.250
I'd also try different browsers as well. It seems like it goes through a cycle where chrome breaks for a bit while firefox works and then firefox doesn't work and chrome does.
what router are you trying to connect it to?
