Looks like that router is an "easy mesh" router. Not sure exactly what that entails with linksys but are you able to go into the router and disable that feature?

While there is a Linksys E9450 that has an "EasyMesh" feature, mine is the "Classic" E9450 (I didn't know that until I checked) and it does not have the "EasyMesh" feature. Therefore I can't turn it off.

I read that item on the Linksys website and although it says that the tech I "chatted with" said there are 2. One has the Mesh and the other one that I have does not. I guess there isn't a solution, so I'll assume that the extender does not work with Linksys E9450. BTW, the Linksys support couldn't solve the problem and even added that it should work, as Linksys extenders work with Netgear routers. Go figure!🤔
