If I connect my extended to my wifi router by utilizing the WPS buttons on both the extender and router and they connect. Do I need to do anything else? In the instructions step 6 mentions connecting wifi decices by using a new network name, i.e. "MyNetworkName...". I thought it would be the same name as my router but I'm unsure if that is the case.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Connection
Netgear extenders will usually broadcast a new name consisting of the router's SSID with "_EXT" appended to it. If you want to change this, you will need to log into the extender.

Re: Connection
It's not appearing as an option but the extender is solid green. Thoughts?

Re: Connection
So, you log into www.mywifiext.net, go to Settings > WiFi but you can't change the Wi-Fi network name? Maybe you can try setting it up from scratch. You should have the option to customize the Wi-Fi name.
