Dual Band "Access Point" for WNDR3700
I recently purchased a WNDR3700. I am moderately pleased with it - it is certainly a step up from my older WRT54G in terms of speed. I'm looking for a device which will: which would operated ...

Apparently this device is limited to 130 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. I'd prefer something that didn't have this limitation.
Part of my problem is arriving at the proper terminology when looking for devices.
The term I used in my original post of "Access Point" mode may not have been a good term.
I basically want the device to function in "client mode" as a gaming adapter does. It is my understanding that when using a WDS or other bridging solution you will either effectively half your throughput and/or have to turn off WPA2 encryption (the former possibly being related to the latter).
I have found the following solutions which should do what I need:
http://www.trendnet.com/products/proddetail.asp?prod=230-TEW-680MB&cat=159 - Possibly the best option. 450mbps. Dual band. 4 gigabit wired ports. A bit pricey, and I'm not 100% sure it works in just "client mode" but I'm pretty sure it does.
This looks like a good bet, but I would like to find something like this that is 600N. Also, I would be willing to buy a full router that supports this functionality either stock or through DD-WRT/Tomato - but I need to make sure it will work with the WNDR3700 before I buy.
Other options:
http://www.buffalotech.com/products/wireless/client-adapters/airstation-n300-dual-band-wireless-ethernet-converter-access-point-bridge-wlae-ag300n/ - Dual-band. 2 wired ports. However it is only 300N and 100mbps on the wired.
http://www.netgear.com/home/products/wireless-adapters/high-performance/WNCE3001.aspx - One wired port (100Mbps). I assume this is 300N (it states dual mode).
http://www.asus.com/Networks/Wireless_Routers/WL330N3G/ - Basically the replacement for my Asus WL330gE. However is not dual-band and is N150. This is a more versatile device (6-in-1) that will have some reusable value.
