EX2700
I was able to connect the Wifi Extender to my existing router. I followed the advice that the extender should have a different SSID, which is to add EXT to the existing SSID of my network. I have an Amazon Dot and the app was installed on my iphone connected to my existing network. Amazon Dot was working perfectly until I installed the netgear extender. Once the netgear is installed the iphone could now see the Extender as another wireless network. If I connect to the extender, Amazon Dot cease to function. What I did is I disconnected the extender for now and the Amazon Dot could now be used. I have reset the extender and would like to set it up again. Can I use the same Wireless network SSID without the EXT on the extender. Would this solve my problem on the Alexa Dot?

Re: EX2700
Hello marciano3rd
You can use the same SSID but its not recommended as you might run into other issues but you can try and see if that works for you.
