The range extender is working well but it does not reach far enough. Can I add another extender in range of the first one to get more range?

Can it? yes.
Should you? With that extender, probably not
Standard dual/single band extenders have to use the same wireless chip to go router----extender and then extender----devices. And they can't do both at once. so they drop throughput 50% of what they receive. So if they're already at the edge of their range, they're connection is already reduced and then you drop that 50%. It can be very slow. And then you add another one and that drops the speed another 50% plus its distance/interference.
And that extender wasn't fast to start with and it suffers because its a 2.4ghz extender only. 2.4ghz has a ton of interference.
How big is the home?
How far from the router is the extender and then the tv?
If you are just wanting to add another extender, make sure to set it up in a star configuration.
Star: Extender<-----------------router--------------------->extender
Not daisy chained as you've described.
Daisy: router---------------->extender----------------->extender
