EX6110-100UKS
Hi,
My new extender appears to not be set up and working fine. On my computer is now two additonal wifi sources MyNetworkName_2GEXT and MyNetworkName_5GEXT. Which one do i need to choose? i thought the dual process, meant that they work together to support each other in the transfer of data. Is it just a case of trying one and then the other? Which should be first choice the 5?
i need to connect 4 oir 5 devices, is it better to spread them over the 2 bands?

Re: EX6110-100UKS
So the EX6110 isn't a mesh extender. so it has seperate ssids from the primary router and for each band.
Each band has benefits.
5ghz is much much faster but doesn't broadcast as far or through as much materials.
2.4ghz broadcasts further and through more material but is a slower band.
so in terms of which to pick, I'd place any streamers or higher bandwidth devices on the 5ghz.
put your slower/less bandwidth intensive on the 2.4ghz.
