EX7000 Firmware Update Failure

My EX7000 operated flawless until an update came out from Netgear. Now it interfers with the whole network, will not hold a setting, etc. In a way, I am glad it screwed up because I have learned how bad the Netgear support is. Apparently Netgear knows the lifespan of their equipment so they can charge just to access the support which should be free forever it they believe in the product. Just trying to contact someone is impossible. So I had to fix it myself, it hasn't caused a problem whatsoever from the bottom of the trash can.
