Got this range extender for christmas the model number is EX2700 but set up has the internet in 2g

So i have this range extender but i did the setup and i have it plugged into my computer with a ethernet cable but it's only in 2g and I was wondering if its possible for me to get it in 5g?

    The EX2700 is a 2.4ghz device.  its a base level wireless extender, You'd need a dual band extender to pick up/extend 5ghz.
