Apple Product support has stated thtat their HomePod product does not work with the mesh extender Model EX7300v2. Is there any plans to fix this? They recomened Orbi or Eero as solutions. I am using a Spectrum cable modem and router. Will Model EX7300v2 be upgrade to allow HomePos to connect?

Solved it.
I set the extender up as a stand alone circuit, not as a mesh circuit. The Apple HomePod Mini had no problems recogizing the extended circuit. It just had trouble with the "meshed" ciircuit.
Thanks all.

Re: HomePod with Model EX7300v2
Apple stated this?
Where?
I don't have that specific extender but I haven't had issues connecting anything to my other extender

Re: HomePod with Model EX7300v2
Thats great. I have not had problems with other devices (iPhone, Honeywell Thermostats, Kuna security lights). But my Homepod Mini can not access the extended mesh cicuit and Apple Support states its a Netgear problem. I can access the un-extended wifi circuit (disconnected extender) with the home pod. So its not an Apple problem and not a Netgear problem, its just my problem.

Re: HomePod with Model EX7300v2
have you done a quick google search for "homepod wifi issues"
you're not the only one and it isn't isolated to ex7300.
Some found fixes with changing settings. I'd try googling that and reading through a few solutions found with the homepod

Re: HomePod with Model EX7300v2
Yes, I did a search on both Apple and Netgear and a general search.
Yes, I found a lot of problems out there with HomePod and wifi, but not anything that was similar to my problem.
Remember, my iPhone, my HoneyWell thermostats and my Kuna security cameras all work with my NetGear extender hardware. Apple engineers say it is a problem with the extender, and that only high priced ORBI and ERRO devices work.

there should be no reason that it only works with orbi/eero. That'd be a failure on apples part.
