How do I bypass the genie on a WN2500RP
I have a firewall in place and I run a tight ship as far as IP's go. I purchased this extender to extend the wireless coverage in my house from a netgear router that my firewall uses as a wireless access point. Whenever I go to config the extender, instead of the standard admin menu, I'm presented with some kind of genie. I do not see a way to bypass it at all. Since I can not set the extenders static IP and related specs, as soon as the genie completes the extended network fails. I then cannot even log back into the extender. I have tried this with both a wired and wireless connection. Permissions are set in my firewall for the extender's mac and it's ready to roll on the back end. I just can't get to the admin menu on the extender. I have read in this forum that a direct connection (doesn't work) or completing the install (I can't complete the install) and re-accessing the extender allows access to settings. My firewall is a PFSense box. Before I go through the trouble of creating rules or taking down parts of my firewall to make this thing work, I wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking anything. Thank you for your time,

Hello isstockiswear
there is not a way to disable the genie on this device.
