NETGEAR EX7500-100UKS and NETGEAR EX8000 Nighthawk X6S

Question

Hi... I currently have a EX7500 mesh extender connected to my router. I am getting WiFi extended to my detached garage but the signal is weak.

I am considering adding EX8000 to the network but am not sure if this arrangement will work.

Any advise would be very welcome.

Hi Brian,&nbsp;

This arrangement will work but we recommend having each extender connect to the router and not each other. Please check out the thread linked below as one of our Superusers has provided valuable information on the use of two extenders.

Hi and thank you for the reply.&nbsp;I have just tried to register my AC3000 to discover that its already registered.&nbsp;I bought the extender second hand. Is there some way that I can register it to myself.&nbsp;ThanksBrian
