Netgear AC1200 EX6120 can it pull via Wifi while pushing over Ethernet
I have the Netgear AC1200 EX6120. I also have a safe I would like to set up a server inside of. However I do not want to run Ethernet across the floor in my house to access it. The safe does have an outlet next to it for power. Can I connect the Range extender to wifi and then run Ethernet to server to connect to it via wifi?

You're putting a server inside of a safe? I hope you have it vented 🙂
to simplify, are you asking if you can hardwire the server to the extender? (running a wire through the safe I take it)? If so, yes, you can connect devices to extenders ethernet ports

Is there something i need to do to turn on that port? I tried hooking it to a laptop after it was connected to the Wifi and it was not connecting to the internet

Re: Netgear AC1200 EX6120 can it pull via Wifi while pushing over Ethernet
did you setup the extender via wps or using the installation assistant?
I'd recommen doing it via the installation assistant.
