Re: Netgear X65
More details are needed.
1. X65 isn't a model. What actual device are you referring to?
2. ATT air. Is this att's home internet package? Does it come with a modem/gateway/what device do you get from them?

Re: Netgear X65
I read the S at the end of the name as a 5; my apologies.
What I have is a Netgear Nighthawk X6S Model: EX8000
I'm trying to connect to AT&T Internet Air Model: BGW530-900. It does not have a WPS button on it.
I have had no luck after 4 attempts to get AT&T to send me their extenders for Internet Air, so we are trying to use what we have here.
If the Netgear device won't work with this, do you know of another 3rd party extender that will work?
Thanks for your input.

Re: Netgear X65
1. What method of setup are you using on the EX8000?
2. not sure the security on the BGW530 as its pretty new but make sure its using wpa2/wpa3 mixed mode.
3. What error does the netgear give you when setup fails? Or what actually happens?
4. I know sagemcom and verizon had a similar gateway that had a "self organizing network (son)" that was needed to be disabled to setup other extenders with it versus the same branded ones. Might check in the gateway for anything related to this. Sorry, I don't have that gateway to play with to check
