Netgear nighthawk update broke my router
My router was working just fine until I installed the update. It broke the router. I called tech support. Guy with heavy accent said there was nothing he could do. He actually said the update broke the router. WTH? He didn’t even TRY to help in any way! Nothing! Not sorry, not anything!! When I asked if this was common he hung up on me!! Has this happened to anyone else? The model number is R7450. I can’t believe this happened!

A couple things.
1. what is the router currently doing? what led's on on, what color are they, are they blinking/solid/etc. Details are key here
2. We see a lot of time on here that people google for support and get a scam/con site. did you go through the support process?
To get a hold of support. Click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process. Keep in mind that its only free for the first 90 days.
