Network Security with Powerline
I am concerned about someone plugging another adapter into an outdoor outlet on my property and gaining access. There is already an adapter in my dettached garage which someone can easily see through the window. Knowing what model adapter I have they could buy another adapter and plug in to one of many outlets through out my property and gain access. How do I prevent this?

Kits come preconfigured to work together. When you add extra powerline devices in, they need to be sync'd to the current network. Ifsomeone had access to your network, they could add their own powerline device. But if they had access to your network (powerline) they wouldn't need to add an extra device to get access, they'd already have it.
