Can you rename a second extender after adding it to your home network?

Re: Renaming a second extender (EX2700)
I presume you mean the wireless network name. I have two EX7000 here running as wireless access points - they are connected to the router via ethernet and deliver wireless coverage to opposite corners of our property. I have changed their names several times by connecting to them via IP address in a browser, providing the admin name and password, and going into Settings > Wireless and making the change.
Originally both WAPs had the same name & password - I assumed that the mesh tech was already a feature when in fact it wasn't. So I renamed them. When Netgear enabled mesh tech on the EX7000 with the latest firmware I changed them back but the firmware is so buggy that I backrevved. So in the interim we're back with the different names and I'm still waiting on a version that will let me have a single seamless network again.
