Router password not working for EX6110
Hi all,
I bought this extender for use with my Technicolour TG789vn v3 router several months ago. It didn't automatically pick up the wifi password. Through my router, I found the extender's IP address and manually changed the password. I could then connect to it but I could never connect to the internet through the extender.
I'm now trying to solve the problem again. I have pressed the reset button on the extender and re-connected it again to the router via WPS. Once again it does not recognise the wifi password and now, when entering the IP address for the device obtained through the router into a browser, it does not respond. I have noticed that the IP address for the extender changes each time I check.
I also have an older extender WN3000RP V1H2 extender and I'm having similar trouble with that.
If anyone can assist me I'd be very grateful!
Steve

EX6110 will not connect to the internet
UPDATE:
I have now managed to install and connect to both wifi extenders. I did this by resetting again, then ignoring the WPS button process and instead using the Netgear Installation Assistant via mywifiext web tool.
However, I still can't connect to the internet via the new-ish EX6110. I can via the older WN3000RP.
I anyone can shed any light on the lack on internet connection, I'd be grateful. Perhaps I just have a dud.
Thanks,
Steve
