Trying to hook up R6220 router to two N300 extenders
I have been using the R6220 (AC1200) and one N300 (WN3000RPv1) and it works great. The extender comes up as NETGEAR11_EXT. I want to add a second extender (WN3000RPv3) in a seperate area. When i set up the second N300 it also came up as NETGEAR_EXT. My laptop seemed to slow down and i was not sure which extender it was looking at. Netgear Genie is slow to react and did not help much..
So i began to try and change the SSID of the second extender. I was able to change the SSID but i have failed to every get it to hook up with the R6220 router. I have tried multiple ways but i give up.
#1 Is it possible to do what I am trying to do?
#2 If it is, I would love to see step by step instructions.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Re: Trying to hook up R6220 router to two N300 extenders
Hello Mrksouth
I would factory reset the second extender and do the setup again make sure to rename the ssid so it does no conflict with the other extender and also make sure you are connecting it to the routers wifi not the first extenders wifi.
