Universal WiFi Range Extender WN2000RPT problems
Hi all,
I recently purchased the Universal WiFi Range Extender WN2000RPT and it is incredible! For the first time I am able to use my laptop upstairs in my room.
The only problem is that it is only the laptop that can connect. I purchased the extender in hope that I could also connect to XBOX Live, the PS3, iPad and so my sister and parents could use their laptops too.
My question is how do I enable the range extender to connect to multiple peripherals? We've tried it with my laptop, my sisters laptop (who lives on the top floor) and it only seems to give connection to one laptop.
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated!
Many thanks,
Dean

- jmizoguchiVirtuosono different than connecting to regular wireless.
- drussell92NoviceBe that as it may, but how do you explain the fact that any other laptop/iPad/phone cannot connect? They all display a similar message "Unable to connect to SKY2" (the name given to identify the extender). I've tried to set it as public access but the same thing happens again.
