WN3000RPV2 Have a new modem and I cannot change the former wireless extension to the new one
ATT sent me a new modem and now I cannot figure out how to add the new extension for the new modem. The old extension will not go away and is not in my list in the NetGear genie to remove when I click on Manage. I have tried to reset to factory settings and link with WPS but that does not work either.

Hello Italamo
When doing the factory reset make sure you are holding the reset button for 10 seconds. Also make sure your new modem is using WPA2 security on the password. If its still not working you could try to change the SSID on your modem so it is not the same as the old SSID.
