Hi. Does anybody know if you can have 2x N300 WiFi extenders working at the same time?
I bought one a few months ago and it working great, there are some areas I can’t get WiFi so I purchased on other N300 today.
I’ve got the extender paired to the router but when I put it in my location it won’t connect??
I thought it would use the first extender and boost the signal to the new one?
Can anyone help..
Thanks

Daisy chaining extenders can work but its usually pretty poorly. Especially if you're stretching out the distance. If you're going to do this, make sure the 1st extender has a different ssid from the router and that that 2nd is as well. Otherwise they might mix up associations.
Make sure that they aren't to far apart as well.
So naming:
Router SSID--->extender 1 ssid-ext1----->extender 2 ssid-ext2
Another thought is interference. If you're stretching out distances, they're more sensitive to interference. If there are many wifi networks nearby, the setup might not work at all. Make sure to do a wifi scan and go with the least congested channel, recommend 1-6-11.
Also make sure they're firmware is up to date.
