WN604 unusual settings - please help!
I bought a WN604 2nd hand. It has a sticker on it giving the SSID and passcode for accessing it - not standard?
I was able to access the login page of the router but the standard username and password didn't work (admin and password)
Reading the online manual (I found two - one older and one newer) both giving similar ways of resetting the box and have tried them all a afew times - no changes.
The SSID still stays as what is written on the sticker and I still can't log in to change the settings.
So - I'm assuming it is a unit that has been doctored. I guess the firmware has been given different defaults. Does anyone have any ideas about returning it to the factory defaults? Or is it a point of chucking it and starting again?

- Bump - any ideas? Is it possible to flash it with the latest firmware without logging in to it?
- You don't need to login to reset it.

Page 60 has the information you need on how to restore the unit to factory default settings.
