WRN2000rpt wont find my router
Hi I could do with some help, I bought this repeater and connected it to my computer following the instructions. When I go to www.mywifiext.net it takes me straight into startup wizard and runs a scan for what WIFI networks are near by. However it doesn’t come up with my network?
I have tried the following:
Moving it closer and further to the existing router
Using a secondary wireless router
Changing security settings on my router
Using Ethernet port on my computer to connect to the repeater.
No matter what I try it will not pick up any of my routers, the networks it does pick up a very few . Compared to what I can see on my laptops as networks available in the neighbourhood it about 6-7 it only picks up 1 to 2 of them.
Is there any other settings that I need to be looking at? I cant access anything in the repeater as it wont let me go past the wizard.
thanks
