ex6100 access point -- can't connect in order to set password
Using the EX6100 as a wireless access point, I pushed the "reset to factory" settings, plugged in the ethernet from the router, turned on the power, got all green lights. Instructions say: "4. On your computer or mobile device, find and join a WiFi extender
network." I see the network "EX6100_NETGEAR_5GEXT" and I hit "Connect", which gives me a password prompt. I don't know the password (the problem) so how can I connect in order to set a (new) password?

Re: ex6100 access point -- can't connect in order to set password
2 ways.
1. Look at the product label on it. It should have the default ssid and password listed.
2. Use the wps method to connect to it. Once connected you can change the settings.
the manual walks you through connecting via wps.
