how to connect a camera and intercom at my entry gate which is 260' away from my house.
People ,
my entrance gate into my property is 260' away from my house. i would like to install a camera/ intercom combination unit or a separate camera and intercom out by my gate. i do have power near the gate. i do not have any conductors or wiring run between my house and the gate.
can anyone give me suggestions as to what i can install , what products etc.

260ft is quite a ways.
Powerline *might* make it if you can get the 2 devices on the same circuit.
Wifi is going to struggle as most deivces max disance is 300ft outdoors and thats under optimal conditions. You're under that but you're wanting video and intercom.
Potentially you could set up a point to point system. It uses a directional antenna and can go significantly further than standard wireless. I don't think netgear has a point-point system. Basically go to amazon and search point to point wireless bridge
That might be ideal for you.
