how to deactivate WPS on WN3000RP ?
hello,
i found an option in the WN3000RP interface which is called.
"hide WPS number" (the 8 digit number).
i marked this to hide the number but i dont know where the sense is to hide it?
i connected my router with the WN3000RP via WPA2/AES only... and it all works very well.
my problem is now that every other device in the range of WN3000RP says .. "found a WPS point .. would you like to connect?"
.. no i dont!
next time .. "would you like to connect"
no i dont!
and so on and on and on ... thats realy enjoying.
as said above i marked the WPS number in the interface as "hidden" but i can not find any option to deactivate the WPS crap completely.
why netgear has no option for this ? a new firmware would be great to solve this problem.

Re: how to deactivate WPS on WN3000RP ?
You may need to suggest the fixes to support. If you can not disable 100% in GUI right now then I don't think you will find the solution right until firmware changes.
