strong signal no internet comcast xfinity router modem

I have a WIFI extendermodel #3700 and a comcast cable modem/router My extender is set up and the extended signal says it's a very strong signal with no internet. that's useless and it used to work fine. I have changed nothing. What do I do to fix this or is the extender trash?

    do you have the EX3700?

    What comcast modem/router is it? model

    You put it worked fine. So what changed? were you changing settings? 

    Or did comcast change anything? I know they suddenly allowed all their modem/routers to be used as public access due to covid. Did they push out a firmware update? 

    Have you tried re-running the setup on the EX3700? maybe if comcast did change something, you just need to re-run the installation wizard.
