Issues I have noticed so far:

Process that keeps failing:

[DumaOS] Ubus object 'com.netdumasoftware.dpiclass' now bound,

[DumaOS] Ubus object 'com.netdumasoftware.dpiclass' added, attempting to bind pending,

[DumaOS] process '/usr/bin/dpiclass' died restart:true,

UPNP:

Same issue as usual where port does not get cleared up. I see the page that has been created for this issue has now been removed.

The NETGEAR Nighthawk App (on iPhone):

When trying to do a Speedtest via it, the upload completes but on download it fails with the error;

Connection Failed

If the problem persists try rebooting your router.

(I have tried a reboot no difference).

On the debug page the telnet option has been removed now, imagine this is intentional but now quite annoying to track issues I was looking at, aka there is a constant arp issue being reported, not in the log to paste at the moment as a bunch of things has been updated from the 'cloud' by the looks of it, will paste that error when I see it again too.

Feels a lot better overall though! My gratitude to the team.

Thanks,

Re: Issue reporting thread - POST NEW ISSUES HERE (V 2.63 running DumaOS 3.0.139)

@Netduma-Fraser installation 104 without problems
after installation problem with login-restart help
reinstallation to factory settings without a problem (installation and reset lasted a little longer than usual, but it may seem to me)
the manager in most devices works fine (except the androi mini box does not show online)
and the same error as recently phones shows the prefix ipv6 (ipv6 are disabled)
then the wifi devices do not show the signal strength
speed test now shows very close speeds probably fine
after one day I lost access to xr500 (restart help) now it works

Re: Issue reporting thread - POST NEW ISSUES HERE (V 2.63 running DumaOS 3.0.139)

So if your having a lot of issues here is what I did from the start and I have come across no real issues. First off before I put in the new firware I did a reset of the router and I then set things up. Next I downloaded the new beta firmware to my pc then I installed it frome there and double checked all settings from A to Z. So far for me I have only notice one issue and that was I had to re run my speed test for QS other wise my XR500 seams to be working ok.. I hope this helps every one..

Re: Issue reporting thread - POST NEW ISSUES HERE (V 2.63 running DumaOS 3.0.139)

Uncaught ReferenceError: saulis is not defined
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'type' of undefined

Used to get the second one only, the first one is new now. Happens when navigating to Hybrid VPN page, VPN Setup page is fine, right window still shows loading circle indefinitely.

Rebooted router after upgrade to V2.3.2.63-DUMAOS3.0.139 as well, did not help as I read elsewhere.

@Netduma-Fraser

I know you guys aren't logging issues on the latest firmware now but there might be an actual memory leak.

Since yesterday evening I had 20.5% of RAM free, this morning it's down to 18.6%.

43.6% of RAM is being used on 'Cache'

Will keep an eye on it but more of an FYI than anything,

Thanks,

Re: Issue reporting thread - POST NEW ISSUES HERE (V 2.63 running DumaOS 3.0.139)

In relation to my previous post (2 posts back/up), this is the message/error that pops up when accessing Hybrid VPN using Chrome on an iPhone (was trying to eliminate the antivirus/firewall factor from a computer/laptop since I noticed both were running Symantec Endpoint Protection):

TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'g_devices[devid].type')

@TheFuzzyOne87you don't have to worry about the 43.6% of RAM being used as cache. The router is running a custom Linux OS and that is just how Linux uses RAM. It will fill the cache in case an application needs to be run again. If the system starts running low on RAM it will just overwrite the cache. (Linux user here for the past decade or so)

What you do have to worry about is the 3 load average numbers listed in uptime on the Dashboard. That shows you the CPU load for the last 1, 5, & 15 minutes. Since this is a dual core router those numbers should be under 2 (1 means 1 core is at 100%, 2 means 2 cores at 100%, etc...) Once that gets over the number of cores you have things start queuing and slowing down, crashing, etc...

I have seen my load average above 8 and that is when I need to reboot the router. Apps will not load, RAPP errors popup, and other weirdness happens. You used to be able to enable telnet on the router to login and view which apps are causing this but that has been removed in the lastest update. (another feature regression)

It seems that there is a lot of optimization that is still needed in 3.0 for anything other than the XR700

@beemir it's not optimized for mobile browsers so you probably will see errors there.

For any errors/issues on the firmware we revoked no need to report them currently as we won't be working off that firmware. If issues are too much then please downgrade to .56 while you wait for the next one.

Re: Issue reporting thread - POST NEW ISSUES HERE (V 2.63 running DumaOS 3.0.139)

I tried all the options reinstall and restor and agin reinstal new (beta 104) version but IPTV not works with QoS on, on my tv or on some another devices telefon or tablet.

if i turn off QoS evrithing works perfekt.

this problem has been around for years, I was hoping it would be solved with DumaOS 3 but the problem is still there.

Re: Issue reporting thread - POST NEW ISSUES HERE (V 2.63 running DumaOS 3.0.139)

today I tested qos and the separation of the internet between devices,
laptop asysus tuff game download 40mb per second (my test speed is 44mb)
other devices do not have enough internet (iptv sony tv, stream samsung s 10 e)
I changed the sliders to different values, nothing helped
the end of downloading everything is worth it to normal

is it possible to add to the list of devices, e.g. android tv -TV is detected by phone

We will be adding more device types over time so can certainly do that. How were they connected, via WiFi or ethernet?

Re: Issue reporting thread - POST NEW ISSUES HERE (V 2.63 running DumaOS 3.0.139)

@Netduma-Fraser OK, I know why this happens when the console or laptop is downloaded, qos does not detect the game and does not regulate the overload, while when downloading the game I start the game on the console or laptop, everything returns to normal, it would be good for the devices added to the priority devices to be detected after turning on a not after starting the game, because qos will not work

@Raf1212 I'm not sure I follow, when you're not gaming on the device it doesn't need to be prioritized.

@Retired_Member @Mark9816 that should only happen if you're accessing it using an Incognito browser or you don't allow the interface site to accept/store cookies so check your browser settings.
