Re: Issue reporting thread - POST NEW ISSUES HERE (V 2.63 running DumaOS 3.0.139)

My upgrade to the latest beta, 'XR500-V2.3.2.104-DumaOS3.0-Beta' wasn't a smoove one.
I came from the official firmware after the previous severe problem.

Basically, upon upgrade from the official firmware, a lot of my devices were missing. Even Geo-Filter took out 2 of my 3 devices and made the only device available set as unknown. I couldn't add any new device to Geo-Filter as well. I tried restoring my backup. But to no avail.

The solution was to downgrade to the previous beta, 'XR500-V2.3.2.63-DUMAOS3.0.139', which will still show the devices as missing and Geo-Filter still being corrupt. But... From this update, I was able to use backup restore and voila. All my devices were back.
From there, just upgrade the firmware to the v2.3.2.104 and problem solved. Devices are still there in Device Manager and all my 3 devices appear in Geo-Filter without an issue. I checked and yes, I can finally also add new devices to Geo-Filter.

That's the weird bug issue that I experienced.

@lotustechie thank you, I’ve updated our internal ticket for this error so the devs can look into it again.
@LiLAsN that is weird but thank you for letting us know, we’ll keep an eye out for that.

Main GUI unavailable

Hi @Netduma-Fraser

The main GUI seems to be dead for me.

After a minute of waiting I get the error 'This Rapp is not loaded yet, please try again in a minute.'

Screenshot 2020-09-22 at 08.47.14.png

I can get to the debug page though.

Basic Infomation
 CPU Load5.025126%
 Memory Usage(Used/Total)148MB/472MB
 Flash Usage(Used/Total)214MB/256MB
 Network Session(Active/Total)1019/65536
 System Uptime03:23:44:35

This router on the latest Beta Firmware can not last 4 days for me without needing a reboot.

I haven't rebooted it yet incase there is anything I can do to to get any information etc to help you guys out, I can still do my day to day stuff for work so until it becomes unresponsive I will leave it like this.

Thanks,

Re: Main GUI unavailable

Further to my previous post.

I can also access the 'adv_index.htm' page also.

Apart from the usual 'DOS Attack' messages in the logs I see nothing else like Rapps dying etc.

Thanks,

Re: Main GUI unavailable

Thanks for that, do you know roughly what time the issue occurred at so I can try to sync it up? Nothing stands out initially.

Re: Main GUI unavailable

No clue unfortunately, would of been between 16:00 GMT yesterday and 08:00 today.
Logs look to have rotated, so anything that may have been useful has been overwritten already and doesn’t show any of the timeframe mentioned.

@Tripper_ are you connected to a pure modem or a router/gateway? If the latter disable the firewall on it and check to see if it blocks ICMP.

seems to just be a glitch.  after a reboot of the router, the QoS rules started working again.

Was that directly after disabling IPv6? Did you have internet at the time for all your devices?
