Re: New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR500)
@Jefferzz93 Have all the devices that were in Traffic Prioritization before the factory reset, connected again to the router? Traffic Prioriziation targets and services do not seem to get reset during a factory reset, or at-least did not for me causing that error.

Are the rules not lighting up read to indicate that traffic has been detected? How do you mean 'stuck in a queue'? Have you tried removing and re-adding the rules?

Re: New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR500)
That's interesting, which devices would you be adding, a PC or a console presumably?
Could you disconnect the device you're looking to add and remove it from device manager then reconnect it?

Re: New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR500)
I have the exact same problem, updated to the latest firmware and am having a "Device Not Found" error
I have done a factory reset and the problem still persists.

@Kique94 it is to check the firmware version is official, you don't need to worry about that. The firmware file is .img and that is what you need to upgrade the router with.

Hello,
Not sure if this has been brought up.
Unable to mail logs to Yahoo account. I am using smtp.mail.yahoo.com Tried port 465 and 587 both. Turned authentication on. After hitting apply the password disappears from Duma, Not sure if that is the issue or a security thing. I would think it would just leave the asterisks there.
Here is log errors, I Xed out my e-mail

Re: New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR500)
I don't use Yahoo myself, but looking around a little, it would appear you’ll need to create App password in your Yahoo account settings. Go to ‘Account Security’ > Generate App password at the bottom of the page. In the dropdown, select “Other App” and then give it a name and click on “Generate”. Take this password and use it when setting up your email settings in DumaOS (Settings -> Content Filtering -> Email). Let me know if that helps.

Re: New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR500)
Well now it is not working for one I had set up that was working. Definitely could be operator error. But I think I researched and had everything correct. In the end I would like to use my Yahoo but it wants an app name and I do not know what app the XR500 uses to send mail.
For the one that worked on .104 I think
Info: used e-mail id
mediacombb.net
Then the 3 entries are from trying ports 25, 587, 465
Uses authentication

Re: New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR500)
Looking around that error would suggest that the login credentials entered aren't correct, though it could be a similar issue to the Yahoo account. What mail service is this with?

Re: New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR500)
So I managed to solve my router issues by NOT factory resetting.
After the issue popped up with the .120 update from my previous experience, I downgraded back to .104. The problem still persisted.
Factory resetting is a bit hard cos there's too many devices that I will need to configure to have static IPs again. Ain't nobody got time for that.
However recently, brandoff7 from an earlier post mentioned his devices not getting internet all of a sudden. That issue affected me as well at the same timing as his. I was gaming and then all of a sudden, kicked out of Blizzard servers on my wired PC connection.
Not only that, but my Broadlink Home Automation hub was also disconnected from its servers. In the so many years I had the Broadlink hub, it had never even once got this issue.
The thing is, brandoff7 is on the latest .120 firmware while I was on .104 firmware.
And My Amazon Echo not being able to play TuneIn radio issue persisted too.
However, I came across a permanent solution to all of my problems without the need to factory reset.
Usually, when it comes to restarting the internet, I will turn off the modem and the XR500 router for around 8 seconds before I power it on again.
This time, I turned the modem and router off for a good 10 minutes. Turned it back on again and finally, all connectivity issues were solved from all the devices. Even my Amazon Echo no longer has the failed to launch TuneIn issue. I gave it a few days to be sure. And true enough, it works. I was hesitant but finally made the move to upgrade to .120 again. And immediately did the same thing upon finishing the upgrade of turning off the modem and router for 10 minutes. (Take note, I have a static public address from my ISP that has not changed in years. So doing this won't give me a new IP address. So this is strictly a router thing).
And now, after 1 week just to be sure everything is normal, I can safely say that I still have not had any issues like all that I have mentioned above.
So for anyone with any internet connectivity issues and you feel like the router might be at fault but do not want to factory reset, the 10 minute of shutting off the modem and XR500 router seem to work perfectly well without any hiccups.
So thought I might share this method to you all.

Re: New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR500)
I haven’t had another drop and it’s been almost a week since the last event, everything seems to be running stable. I’m hoping we have another event soon to capture. I’ve had a USB Flash Drive plugged into XR500 with debug logging and LAN/WAN packet capture enabled since. So when we have an event we’ll have the pcap files to show network traffic during an event and debug logs.
Today I put a Meraki MX firewall behind the XR500 and I have setup and am using the meraki inbuilt monitoring and alerting to track failure events to within 5 minutes and then easily grab the pcap file before it’s overwritten.
I also had some feedback from Tim Cheng advising that the change from daylight savings time may have affected the router last week.
In some positive news, I can confirm on .120 WiFi Calling is working on iOS. It was not working on any beta firmware prior to this.
Will keep monitoring my xr500 and report back over the next couple of days.

Re: New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR500)
@Netduma-Liam That is my isp, Mediacom's e-mail service and it worked before. I doubt I botched every time I've typed it in which is about a dozen. I also reset up my mail client withh the same password to verify it and can send to it from Yahoo.
Curious as to why the log shows in the error as ssmtp, guessing just the way the developer wrote it?
Giving up on the Yahoo mail, guessing your router just isn't capable.
Edit: Is this working for others and what settings are they using?

Re: New Firmware v2.3.2.120 (XR500)
@Netduma-Fraser Hmmm, the modem is a Motorola MB8600. I will look into seeing how to set up DMZ on it, but I thought that was just a router feature.

@Netduma-Liam wrote:@mathmath51 That doesn't sound like an issue with the DNS servers you're using, I agree. Has the issue occured since? Did you make any changes specifically to resolve this or did it recover on it's own? When you were pinging the router, where you using it's IP or the URL? Let us know and we can then decide where's best to direct these logs.
Hi,
It didn't happen since, but I have rebooted the router after the issue resolved by itself just to be on the safe side.
When I was pinging the router, I pinged its IP adress directly.
Thanks
Hi, it happened agian twice since, with the router crashing right after the lost of connexion.
I've logs.
Thanks
