Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
Sounds like NVRAM isn't working right or is corrupt.
Something to try, Using a wired PC and FireFox or MS Edge. Downgrade back to v114. Factory reset using the ERASE function on the web page. Walk thru the setup wizard. Once completed. Re-install v130. Erase again the setup from scratch. Now setup fully.
Same thing happening?

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
I've had that same problem as well, what I did was reverting to .114 firmware, then did a factory reset, and then did auto update firmware from the router, and the congestion controll fully resetted.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
Hi guys ,
Recently download the new firmware on my router, but when go to check....I see have new features such as a Ping Heatmap and more but not working. When goes to open one of new features just loading the page.
The results...find from internet the previous firmware and downgraded to working with old features.
Communicate with Netduma Support and tell me first do factory defaults to router and after downloading the new version. I don't do that yet but for other posts to reading this action not working and others more users with same router have the same problem

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
My XR500 restarted itself today, and kicked off the reset \ setup process. As this happened randomly, is there a recommendation on the last stable firmware that I can downgrade to in order to prevent this from happening?

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
My router starts the OOB experience - the reset process - each and every time it's rebooted. From the GUI, the reset button or a power interruption.
Since it's becoming more frequent - all I'm asking is - what is the general consensus for the last, best, most stable firmware release.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
This has going on since the first DumaOS beta.. wasn't fixed in .120 either and seems it's still the case with .130.
After having a delight (in a positive way) with the original Netduma R1 the Netgear stuff is a nightmare. Will be the last netgear product I'll ever have purchased.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
How are you determinine the internet disconnection? Is the top Internet LED turning red or loss of internet on wired and wireless devices?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
Can you set a IP address range of 192.168.1.100 thru .200 on the router, save settings and reboot the router and your devices. I would also power OFF the ISP Modem for 1 full minute then back ON as well.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
Very weird how I get an official email from Netgear stating, " Important Security Firmware Update from NETGEAR".
Yet when I go to the product support download page its still the same broken .130 firmware update. Wonder how many other registered users of the XR450/500 got this bs email.

If it was specifically regarding the 450/500 I suspect they'll put it up as soon as they're able to.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
Have you only noticed this issues after upgrading to the latest firmware?
If so, please downgrade back to the previous version, then upgrade again. That will resolve this issue.

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
Does rebooting the XR500 temporarily resolve the problem?
Did you factory reset after you initially installed the update?

Re: New - XR450/XR500 Firmware Version 2.3.2.130 Released
I also had to downgrade to .114 as my internet was cutting out randomly, and started happening multiple times per day.
Factory reset it with each upgrade until the latest, I've also had buffering issues with .130.
The internet light on the router itself would turn off when I'd lose connection, and then come back maybe 30 seconds later, maybe longer.
I have a CM1000 and apparently that's an issue as well with their modem. I don't know which is causing the issue for sure, but, since downgrading back to .114 it has solved the disconnection issues. All I know is spending almost $300 on a router to have this performance, including not being able to use IPV6 with QoS in 2022, after years of waiting for better firmware is totally unacceptable.
