Also iv noticed since upgrading too 104 i cant get an open nat on ps4 always moderate iv tried port forwarding, upnp , too with no change.
Am running a static ip address to ps4

Would i need to have upnp turn on on my main router ?

Okay so it is an actual router. Have you put it in modem, bridge mode, IP passthrough or put the XR WAN IP in its DMZ? You will need to do one of those things to ensure an open NAT.

The router cant be put into bridge mode or modem mode but i did put the xr500 in the dmz of the main router

Did you put the WAN IP from the System Information page in the DMZ? You can't put the IP in that you use to access the XR as that won't work. You can leave UPnP off.

Yes i put the xr500 wan ip that i found on internet status into dmz on main router
Connection type DHCP
WAN IP 192.168.0.15
Connection status connected

Where are you seeing the NAT Type and what does it say for the NAT?

Thanks for your time freser its fixed all i did was turned on upnp on main router rebooted both xr and main router and it worked. Am still have trouble with the benchmark testing tho as its still failing and logging me out .

Are you trying the test while connected to WiFi? Not that it should make much difference but try when connected via ethernet.

Great thank you. Could you check on your upstream router please to see if they block ICMP, if they do please disable that and see if the test works properly then.
