Re: XR700 - DumaOS 3.0 Beta Firmware
What speeds do you see through the XR700?
If you fully disable QoS from the three-line menu on the left, do you see an increase in speeds?

Re: XR700 - DumaOS 3.0 Beta Firmware
Watching this thread, I disabled QoS and I did see a speed increase. My plan is 600 down/17 up. With it enabled my test was 263/17, with it disabled it was 401/17.
I haven't seen my speeds at 600 for some time, so seeing ~400 was nice... even if it was a one time thing.

Re: XR700 - DumaOS 3.0 Beta Firmware
Also watching this thread and can confirm that disabling QoS I saw a speed increase. my plan is 1Gb Down/1Gb Up, with QoS enabled it was half this.

Re: XR700 - DumaOS 3.0 Beta Firmware
I have the XR700 connected via Ethernet cat6 direct to the ISP Switch, no modem.

Re: XR700 - DumaOS 3.0 Beta Firmware
So I am apart of this group as well. I as well have 1gb service and with QoS on it get about half my speeds or so. I also fall in with apps failing to load I have my apps set to 5 attempts. Only way to get my apps to work is a restart. Apps will work for a couple days then give the failed to lunch messsage as well.

Re: XR700 - DumaOS 3.0 Beta Firmware
It's CAT6 from XR700 to the switch. It's a gigabit access switch with GE downlinks (Huawei S5735-S32ST4X) direct to the ISP network.
The service came with a Nokia modem, but I'm not using it and plug the ethernet directly to my XR700.

Re: XR700 - DumaOS 3.0 Beta Firmware
I have tested with speedtest and connection benchmark. As far as the apps that fail to load its ping heatmap and network monitor. I am using xFi Advanced Gateway with it on bridge mode.

Re: XR700 - DumaOS 3.0 Beta Firmware
Highiest I have been able to hit is 800mbs on connection benchmark speed test is ually around 550 on a hardwired device. When I run xfinitys speedtest from there side to the modem it says its running at 1.3gbs a second. I know the highest the wan port is 1gb but thought I would be getting more then 550 on hardwired computers.

Sorry for the delay @Netduma-Fraser, I have a Netgear CM1100 as my router. This is over a wired connection.

Re: XR700 - DumaOS 3.0 Beta Firmware
I can't get over 800 anytime of the day. As far as a reset yes I have done a reset recently after updating to the beta. As far as did I get more then 800 before 3.0 beta I didn't have 1.5gb service until recently.

Re: XR700 - DumaOS 3.0 Beta Firmware
Update for the dev team. I reset the router, tested my speed. Bypassed the router, tested my speed. In every scenario I am seeing usually 1/6 of my speed or 1/3 (if I am lucky) of what I pay for.
I contacted Xfinity and they have a tech coming out tomorrow morning to check the box and line to the house. I do not think the XR700 is at fault here. Just wanted to let you guys know.

Re: XR700 - DumaOS 3.0 Beta Firmware
It was slightly higher before the beta, but here are my settings that I have tested:
QoS On Settings: (around 400 Mbps)
Download Bandwidth - 1000 Mbps
Upload Bandwidth - 1000 Mbps
Goodput - Ticked
Disable QoS - Unticked
Anti-Bufferbloat - Always
Download - 90%
Upload - 90%
Bandwidth Allocation - 100 (to my PC wired)
QoS Off Settings: (around 700-900 Mbps)
Download Bandwidth - 1000 Mbps
Upload Bandwidth - 1000 Mbps
Goodput - Unticked
Disable QoS - Ticked
Anti-Bufferbloat - Never
Download - 100%
Upload - 100%
Bandwidth Allocation - All Zero
The second set of settings get me near full speed on up and down, currently 700-900 Mbps down and 940 Mbps up.

Re: XR700 - DumaOS 3.0 Beta Firmware
Ok, so tested with sliders at 100% and bandwidth allocation reset for up and down I now have a steady 800/800 +/- 20.
Tested again without QoS and it's around 820/940 +/- 20.
