hybrid vpn setup with cyberghost on the xr500

Hi there im new here and to router settings and cant get the hybrid vpn to work i have 

cyberghost. do i need openvpn on my laptop? is there any video guides to help?

i have updated to latest firmware but not the beta one and have it connected to a sky router. im a complete noob and need help lol.

So not having any luck with the hybrid vpn.

i dont think i have the right settings in the routers {skys/xr500}.

going to do full reset on both routers and start fresh.

once im all connected what settings do i need in my sky router 

for the xr500s hybrid vpn to work.

do i need openvpn installed on a loptop for it to work?

im a noob at all this networking but starting to understand a

little.

any help would be greatly recived

You don't need to make any changes on the Sky router to have the VPN work and you don't need OpenVPN on the PC. Post the OpenVPN configuration file you're using with HybridVPN here, it may need to be adjusted to work

and then pasting the keys under ca / cert / key. lines 

is that the correct way of doing it.

What happened exactly, it connected then switched to failed randomly? Can you provide the error log please?

Can you remove the ping-exit 60 line from the config then try connecting again please?
