i think i bricked my xr500 :(
I tried installing 3.0 beta firmware on my XR500 with the link provided in this community forum, and my screen went white, i waited a few minutes , tried to load the www.routerlogin.net and received a "missing JSON" error message. my router is now blinking white power LED, and eth port 3 and 4 are also blinking white. i tried 7second factory reset.nothing. i tried a 30/30/30 reset. nothing.
R.I.P.? halp please. i didnt mean to lose jason he seems lik ea nice guy.

Re: i think i bricked my xr500 :(
You can try recoving it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9DLrLQrpaw
and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

i potentially used an old .img file for the beta?
