Re: Can this router be used in any country
I live in another country, my cousin bought this router for me. If it comes with problems of connection drops, reboot or speed problems, things reported here.
What do I have to do? Send back to the United States?

That would be up to the returns policy of the retailer your cousin purchased it from

Re: Can this router be used in any country
But he will bring it to me and it will be too much work to send back to the United States, I hope not to disappoint with the netgear.
I lost an ASUS AC5300 WiFi Tri-band, stopped working out of nowhere, took a technician and found no reason for electric discharge.
Looks like I kept a cooler base under this Asus to avoid overheating

Yes it can be used in any country. You should check WiFi channel restrictions that your country may have also.
Do all the XR500 (the mass production units) variants support changing the country settings, so the correct channel/DFS/TFS/power settings are active, and the correct country is advertised with the beacon?

This would be prohibitive. Needless to say - this does and will lead to consumers operating routers in illegal configurations.
PS. Quoting with "@ username" link is still prohibied, too.

Bret,
Use the [Quote] button in the rich text editor ...
@BretD wrote:@I'm not having trouble @ someone's username. Have you checked your user settings page?
Thanks!
...this quote will no go through. I've modeed the two by edititing, so the link is no longer a link.

...and on [Post], the two automatically generated quotes are removed, strippd by some HTML checking...
[second image stripped here, too]
It's not a question of my community settings - this does work all-over - but not in the Nighthawk Pro Gaming sub-fora.
Also the two emebedded pictures are stripped.
