I'm back on f/w

XR500 V2.3.2.56

there is no lease obtained/expired information in connection status.all thats there is:

Connection Statusconnected
NegotiationSuccess
AuthenticationSuccess
IP Address 
Subnet Mask255.255.255.255
I've blanked the ip part but it is connected

Okay understood thank you. I believe it is the DHCP bug I mentioned then, do you have another router you could put between the modem and XR that could take some of the pressure off the XR until it is resolved?

Connect your other router direct to the modem and then connect the XR to that router. Copy the WAN IP from the XR System Information page and input that into the other router DMZ.

NG devs have put out a debug firmware for people to use and gather information when they have the issue so assuming they get enough info they should be able to fix it soon.

We don't have a confirmed solution yet, but there is a new beta firmware version that's looking pretty good so I'd suggest you try that.

Make sure you perform a factory reset after the upgrade to ensure any low-level code from the previous firmware is cleared out.
