Content filtering not working
My son is getting a bit older and I want to block some keywords from being used etc. I clicked on always and added word. Clicked apply and can still look up these words. The parental genie app does not work with the XR 500. The more I try to use certain functions in this router I am starting to see alot of flaws. This should be a simple add keword and apply feature.

Re: Content filtering not working
Sorry to hear this isn't working. Which app specifically isn't working?
We're planning on adding some robust parental control features in future versions of DumaOS.
Take a look at this post about the upcoming version update: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/29487-announcement-the-future-of-dumaos-version-30/

Re: Content filtering not working
So I cant block the word porn? These features dont seem to do what they say. I want to block a word and cannot because of x,y or z. I think netgear needs to be more honest or at least star these so called parental controls on the box.

No the official Netgear support team don't check everything on the forums, although they can be tagged.
The Netduma support team are always here (and on our forums) but we can't help with Netgear hardware problems.
