Disconnections after router reset
Hi,
I recently had to factory reset my router (will need to update with Model). After doing so i configured the router to what i believe was correct, setup WiFi etc. I also updated the firmware. Since doing this i have had random disconnections whereas i never had any before the reset. The disconnections do not last for very long, and only noticed 1-2 a day, but it is causing me issues.
Would anyone be able to point me in the direct of where to start looking for the problem?
Kind regards,

Re: Disconnections after router reset
Hi,
The Model is R7800.
I had a look into the logs last night after a disconnection and found entries for “Internet Idle timeout” and then “Internet connected” not much later, which seems to be the cause of my problems but not sure what to do with these details.
On a side topic, I noticed that when logging into the router (by typing in the IP address) it is only using http and not https? Am I safe logging into it in this way?
Kind regards,

Yes are safe.
Please post here in this forum for the R7800 router:
