EX7700 not using IP reservation assigned.
IP Address reservations not working for EX7700. This morning I woke up to half my systems on my wireless using an IP address range not on my network. for example I use 30.1.1.1 on my JJ network, yet half my systems were connecting to my attached extender on my JJ network with an IP address of 193.168.1.xx. I read somewhere to ensure the extender has a static IP address, but that is not possible from what I can see in the configuration. I tried reserving the IP in the DCHP settings but its not using the same IP each time I restart it. Up until this morning I was dealing with constant nightly disconnects because DHCP would renew on its 24 hour cycle that you can't change and all my systems would fall off the network. Two questions:
1. how do I get my extender to either take a reserved IP or set a static one?
2. How do you fix the DHCP timeout?

- You mentioned you already tried setting a static IP but it hasn't applied. Did you confirm the MAC address of the extender matches the MAC of the device that you think it is? Setting the Static IP should prevent the renewal.
