Hey there guys, I have been using my XR700 and I never noticed its fan spinning, is there way to check if it is working?
Cheers

Re: Fan not spinning
It will only spin up when it's needed. Nothing you can do to check it.

Re: Fan not spinning
The fan will only turn on when there is heavy load, considering the hardware is high spec it's not surprising you haven't hit a level where it would turn on. I wouldn't worry about it but I suppose if you wanted to check then trying to saturate your network with lots of downloads etc and pinning lots of panels to the dashboard might do the trick. I've replied the same on your Netduma forum topic.

Re: Fan not spinning
The router will very unlikely ever spin up the fans. In debug mode, you could play with the Fan settings, but don't do it. The same hardware is used in the older R9000 router, and even in summer streaming twitch on 6 devices never triggered the Fan's to blow.

Re: Fan not spinning
The fan will only engage when the operation is extreme and the temp limit is triggered.
