Help using XR500 as Network Switch
Recently upgraded to a mesh network system to expand coverage in the Home. I like the features provided with the XR500 and ideally would like to use both systems if possible. Can I just connect my XR500 to a port on the mesh network, disable wifi and continue on with my life? Or will I not be able to keep using the router features, and have to run in AP mode?

Re: Help using XR500 as Network Switch
It depends on how you set it all up.
The benefits to the Xr500 is its gaming improvements it offers.
you could always use the Xr500 as the router and use the mesh network (model?) as just the wireless and run the mesh network in access point mode.
You could leave the wireless enabled on the XR500 and just make sure its using different channels from the mesh network.
so go:
modem----->xr500 (in router mode)------>mesh network (access point mode)

The above is what I would recommend as well so you get the best of both worlds.
