How many wireless devices can connect to the XR450
(This is actually about the XR450; for some reason its missing from the model list)
How many 2.4 and 5.0 wireless devices can I connect at once to the XR450 Router?
I read the NG datasheet- seems to be missing (as this spec is on most datasheets). And I scanned these forums where I found someone says "MANY MANY" is the number, but that's open to various conclusions!

Literally thousands, more than any normal household consumer could concievably connect.
So let me get this straight. My newer R8000 supports only 32 + 32 (more like 25 + 25) , but this older router supports "thousands". Doesn't sound right. Also, what is the number? 2048 ?

Re: How many wireless devices can connect to the XR450
The IP address range will dictate how many devices you can connect to a router. Currently 2 thru .254 is the IP address range on NG routers.
I have had 30 devices connected to my XR450. Also with two EX7700 extenders which work very well with the XR450.

Re: How many wireless devices can connect to the XR450
Traditional WiFi routers can stream data to only one device in the home at a time.

For older routers maybe. Wifi routers can stream data to multiple devices at the same time now days.
